JOB SUMMARY
Amla Commerce is recruiting a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to focus on our Znode product. The SDR will connect sales reps with the right leads and business opportunities, playing a crucial role in our company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, establishing consultative relationships, and setting up sales consultants for success. The SDR will manage prospect relationships, pursue new business leads, and assist with sales as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Znode ecommerce platform, using comprehensive knowledge and research to explain how our software meets customer needs.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in qualified leads.
- Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.
- Utilize CRM tools, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Identify the needs of prospects and qualify opportunities.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
- Report to the sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.
MUST-HAVES FOR THIS GIG
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email.
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and sales skills.
- Technical aptitude and an understanding of ecommerce and professional services projects.
- Willingness to drive and organize conversations with customers.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Ecommerce industry knowledge.
- Experience as a sales development representative with a track record of achieving KPIs.
- Proficiency with Hubspot or other CRM software.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
